Love Outreach——“2007 Summer Children Theatre Festival”

Our hotel(Leview Seasons Suite) has sponsored the opening ceremony of the “2007 Summer Children Theatre Festival” on July 14, 2007.
About 9:00a.m., Mr. He Xinzheng, G.M. of Suzhou Limay Cultural Co. Ltd., Ms. Wen Yulan, the chairwoman of Women Association to Taiwanese Investment Corporation Organization, Mr. Chen Hongxiang, G.M. of Suzhou Leview Seasons Suite and other honored guests came in succession to witness the significant event. Suzhou Daily, Gusu Evening News and other media tycoon all came to honor this exciting moment.
At the beginning, Mr. He introduced the theme of this festival: CWI(China Welfare Institute) Children’s Art Theatre aims to inherit the traditional opera culture, to cultivate the children’s education market, to widen the scale and strengthen the effect of the Festival by joining hands with the related organization in Suzhou. Let more youngsters feel happier by this grand occasion. Let the kids contact and walk into the opera through the form of performance; providing them a more normative, healthier cultural stage through importing good international children opera, improving their appreciation levels on acting, music and language and let them acknowledge the multi-culture through the performance. Let’s fly the imagination of the kids and offer them the great spiritual food.
“One of the signs of modern culture is the appearance of metropolises”, addressed Ms. Wen on the ceremony, “which departs the children more and more from the nature: common animals migrate or extinct, and they lose their natural partners. Industrial pollution has deprived them the rights of enjoying the bright sunshine and inhaling the fresh air. The cold concrete buildings erode their feelings to aesthetic and constraint their playing areas. All kinds of “Enlightenment” has taken away the only remaining mystery and curiosity to the nature… current youngsters are turning too precocious, unsentimental and mature. Children opera is an optimal way to make them understand and get closer to the nature, through this way your children will realize the width of the nature and keep their pure mind.
During the ceremony, some of the children opera like ”The Ugly Duckling” had been played. It will help the children to judge good from the evil by sensing them directly in the opera.
We also noticed there is a special group----the humble or even homeless children, they are the hope and future of their motherland, like flowers, how could they thrive without supplemental sunshine and water. So we are also concerning about this special group and hoping help them while the charity groups showing love to the hard-experiencing people. And we believe that this event will be meaningful to not only our hotel, the charity groups but also the whole society.
